About us

The Faculty of Health and Social Care Sciences is a partnership between Kingston University and St George’s, University of London.

As one of the leading providers of health and social care education in the UK, we're proud to be playing a pivotal role in shaping the future workforce for London.

With more than 4,000 students across our three southwest London sites, we offer courses in nursing, midwifery and child health, paramedic science, radiography, rehabilitation sciences and social work, as well as a range of continuing professional development programmes.

We work closely with employers to continually develop our portfolio of courses and our research and enterprise activities. Operating in a climate of continuing change, we have responded proactively and innovatively to new health and social care policy initiatives to deliver programmes that are at the cutting edge of professional development.

Its record on teaching quality puts it in the vanguard of the modern university sector and is a match for many older institutions. Students have caught on and now more apply to Kingston than to any other London-based university.” (The Sunday Times, September 2007).
