Centre for Paramedic Science launched in partnership with ambulance services
In May 2008 we launched our Centre for Paramedic Science, a new specialist centre which will serve as a hub for course delivery and a raft of revolutionary research – putting us at the forefront of paramedic education in the United Kingdom.
Transforming nurse training in Gibraltar
We are playing a key role in a programme to modernise nursing and midwifery training in Gibraltar. In 2007 we were commissioned by the Gibraltar Health Authority (GHA) to provide educational support for student nurses and qualified staff based in the British overseas territory.
Practice development within local NHS trusts
We are working with NHS trusts to promote practice development and workplace learning. Our approach seeks to develop clinical practice by integrating theory, practice, research and service user involvement.
