Commissioning CPPD courses as part of the NHS contract

Choosing a course

Information about all of our courses including dates are available in the left menu and within our CPPD prospectus.

Please ensure that all application forms are submitted eight weeks in advance of the course starting. If the applicant is funded through the NHS contract, the employer/sponsor details on the form must be completed in full. Some masters courses require interviews prior to acceptance.

From 22nd July 2011 all commissioners are now instructed by NHSL to use their new 2011/12 commission name on all applications.

Please use the Trust identification code (allocated by the Faculty) when making applications and in any communication with us. If you are unsure of the code to use, email C.Slevin@sgul.kingston.ac.uk.

Cancellation and banking process

If you would like to cancel commissioned places for a course, please inform your Trust CPD Lead.

Information for CPD Trust Leads: According to the rules set by NHS London you have the right to bank your commissioned places with us, four weeks prior to the start date of the course. The value of these commissions will be transferred to your “bank” and can be used for other courses and activities delivered by our Faculty. Please note that swapping places cannot be accepted. All activities need to be banked first and then exchanged for different activities.

CPPD Trust cancellation and banking process form 2012/2013:

Please complete the form and email to J.woolston@sgul.kingston.ac.uk or send a hard copy to the CPD Programme Office.

Bespoke projects

We are able to provide you with bespoke projects and activities designed to your needs delivered on your premises. We have designed a bespoke delivery process to ensure full client satisfaction. If you have received ‘unspecified’ allocation, please note that this money can be spent on bespoke activities. Email Denise Postings, Research, Business Development and Enterprise Manager (d.postings@sgul.kingston.ac.uk) for more information.
