Dear colleague,
Welcome to the November issue of CPPD: What's New - outlining the latest courses and services offered by the Faculty of Health and Social Care Sciences.
In this issue, our featured course is 'sexual health and wellbeing across the lifespan' for healthcare practitioners working in a wide range of areas including genito-urinary medicine (GUM) clinics and family planning.
You'll also find details of St George's, University of London first ever postgraduate open evening so if you've thought about studying at masters level we would love to meet you. March was another busy month for us and we were delighted by the positive feedback from the conjoint validation with the NMC of our new pre-registration BSc (Hons) nursing degree and nursing postgraduate diploma. The School of Nursing's brand new curriculum is designed to reflect the many changes to the delivery of healthcare services and ensures students will be prepared for practice.
We are planning a number of roadshows to ensure Trusts are aware of how our new courses will benefit students and placement providers. More details will be sent directly to your placement provider leads.
Best wishes,
The CPPD team
