Dear colleague,
Welcome to the May issue of CPPD: What's New - outlining the latest news, courses and services offered by the Faculty of Health and Social Care Sciences.
In this issue, our featured study day is 'Mastering academic practice' which will benefit anyone who is considering studying at postgraduate level. The course offers an ideal way to prepare for the challenges of critical thinking and lots of reading!
On the 12th May we are celebrating International Nurses' Day, which is organised by the Royal College of Nursing. Activities will be taking place in local Trusts and free cake will be handed out to nurses and nursing students at St George's Hospital and Kingston Hill Campus.
We are also celebrating on the 24th May when the Faculty will be holding its annual graduation. Nearly 600 students will be attending our ceremony held at the Royal Festival Hall. It is always a very memorable occasion and hopefully we will see some of you there!
Best wishes,
The CPPD team
