Faculty research reveals how ambulance services respond to new demands

A new report by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and developed with support from Professor Tom Quinn of the Faculty of Health Social Care and Education, examines how UK ambulance services have adapted to deal with double the number of 999 calls from 10 years ago, while caring for an ageing population and taking on new staff roles and a number of new service providers.
