MSc Advanced Practice
Developed in response to new roles and ways of working in healthcare, this course offers experienced practitioners the opportunity to advance their level of knowledge and skills within their field and work towards approved professional competencies.
The course is a flexible interprofessional programme, designed to be tailored to meet individual student needs. Before starting the course, each student will discuss their area of work, personal preferences and professional aspirations in order to select appropriate modules and create an individual course plan.
As well as developing your understanding of your specialist area, the course will help you keep up to date with recent developments, legal requirements and ethically sound practice; enhance your judgement and decision-making skills; and develop your abilities in managing others.
MSc Healthcare Education and Clinical Leadership
If you're a healthcare professional and/or mentor who is keen to learn more about teaching and management techniques, this innovative MSc is ideal. The course combines taught modules, work-based learning projects and the opportunity to explore a topic of particular interest in some depth. The course will enable you to:
- introduce teaching and learning strategies within clinical settings
- lead and manage healthcare practice
- implement workplace learning
- prepare for management of change
- competently research healthcare issues within their local environment
- implement research advances to enrich evidence-based practice.
