Jane is a senior lecturer in Clinical Leadership and Management. She is an experienced clinician with expertise in neuroscience and neuro-rehabilitation nursing and has held a number of senior roles, working as the clinical lead in acute and community stroke services informing the commissioning and development of hyper-acute and rehabilitation stroke pathways across London.
Jane also has many years' experience of running her own business abroad and has continued interest in entrepreneurship and innovation which she incorporates throughout her teaching to encourage and support health care professionals to effect and drive changes in practice to improve quality of patient care.

Within the Faculty, Jane holds responsibility for teaching and leading on a range of modules, including Pre-registration and MSc programmes. In addition Jane is Course Leader for the MSc Clinical Leadership Programme and Academic Zone Lead for Croydon Healthcare NHS Trust and works in collaboration with students, link lecturers and practice partners to develop and enhance the quality of student clinical placements. She is also a member of the editorial board of the British Journal of Neuroscience Nursing and regularly reviews articles for publication in this capacity.
Jane's research interests lie in development of effective, creative teaching methods, focusing on principles of active learning to promote students' personal growth and leadership development
