Jennifer brings over 14 years of work experience in research, evaluation and teaching in public health policy, healthcare and related services as well as implementation science. As a Senior Lecturer - Research, she leads the Research Methods module for MSc Clinical Leadership and Management and also contributes to teaching on other healthcare pathway modules across both Kingston and St Georges University campuses.

She has expertise in the use of mixed methodologies and has gained extensive research, teaching and consulting experience in Public Health, Social Care, Health Services and Policy related research working across various academic institutions as well as private sector consulting firms in the UK and abroad. Her work experience includes project execution and monitoring for, and on behalf of UK NHS organisations, commissioned by bodies such as the Welsh Government, Department of Health, charities and other private organisations to implement evaluation of health programmes and services across various specialties. Her experience to date spans the following specialties:
Primary Care, Emergency and Unscheduled Care, Community Health Services, Mental Health, Children's Services and Acute Care settings.

Research interests

Jennifer has interests in Health Service and Quality Improvement Research, Knowledge Management and Implementation Science, which explores the intersection of knowledge, policy and practice.

Her current research project explores the organisational contexts of Knowledge Management through Networking and Quality Improvement Collaboratives in Healthcare Settings.

Jennifer also provides research design and support for development projects in Africa.
