Sarah-Jane has been lecturing as a Senior Lecturer with the Faculty since 1996 - initially on an adhoc basis and from 2012 in a permanent part-time post.

Her background is in Accident and Emergency Nursing which led to her specialisation as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner/Independent Nurse prescriber.

She has experience of working at Matron/8a grade managing both a nurse-led Minor Injury Unit and an Urgent Care centre based in a busy South London hospital. Since giving up her 8a post in February 2017, she maintains her clinical currency by working Bank shifts as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner.
