Job Title: Senior Lecturer Adult Nursing - Dementia Care
Angela has a wealth of experience in dementia care. She is a registered mental health nurse and has worked in many different dementia care settings both in the NHS and the Third sector. She spent five years living in the USA and worked with the Alzheimer's Association as a dementia trainer. Angela joined the Faculty in February 2013 and has developed a dementia thread within the pre-registration nursing curriculum as well as developing and facilitating dementia modules for workforce development (CPPD).
Lead author of a systematic review on psychosocial interventions for people with early onset dementia and their carers, awaiting publication.
Member of a research team who has received a small grant to evaluate the experiences of carers attending Dementia Cafes
