Bronwen began teaching in 1982 and has enjoyed a long and varied career within a number of schools in the London area, including roles as a leading teacher of mathematics and a subject co-ordinator for many areas of the curriculum.
She has led whole school assessment, been a deputy head teacher and has worked alongside teachers to develop specific areas of their teaching such as behaviour management and inclusion.
Bronwen is currently a senior lecturer, responsible for Pedagogy on the BA (Hons) programme. She also teaches performing arts.
For the past four years Bronwen has been involved in a Teacher Development Agency special needs and/or disability project. This has involved embedding relevant teaching materials across most of the BA programme as well as working with a number of students in a special school setting. The project continues to develop, with even more students being placed in an ever-increasing number of special schools.
