Emma is a registered nurse with a BSc (Hons) in Nursing Studies and an MA in Professional Studies in Education. She joined Kingston & St George's in 2000.

Her key areas of teaching expertise are cardiology and cardiac surgery. She currently leads cardiac modules at CPPD level and is pathway lead for the MSc in Healthcare Practice.

Emma's MA dissertation explored "How can a retrospective evaluation of a foundation programme in emergency care inform future programme development?".
