Biography

Jessica is a senior lecturer in early years education, in which she draws on an interprofessional background and previous roles as an independent trainer/mediator.

She currently teaches on the BA (Hons) Education and Childcare in the areas of critical choices, learning environment and diversity and equal opportunities.

Jessica's specific interest is in taking a 'relationship-based' approach to practice, developing collaborative communication skills. She is currently exploring this within Early Years Professional Support Networks - looking at professionalism within work with 0-5 year olds, families, multi-professionals and colleagues.

She is currently Lead Facilitator of the Kingston, Merton and Richmond Early Years Professional Support Network.
