Lee qualified as a nurse in 1996 and worked in an emergency department for a year and then as a scrub nurse in theatres for two years. She came to the UK in 2000 and continued to work in theatres/PACU before specialising as an anaesthetic nurse in 2001, in which she continues to practice, as well as teaching full-time.

Lee is module leader for: Principles of Perioperative Practice; Theatre Practice; Anaesthetic Practice; Anaesthetic Practice: Specialist Practice and Skills for the Workforce.
