Biography

Paula has worked as a renal specialist nurse in all clinical areas of renal medicine and acute care since 1991. Over the past 16 years, Paula has been involved in teaching, both formally and informally to pre and post-registration students on level 6 and 7 healthcare education programmes and also allied healthcare professionals, healthcare assistants, medical students, patients and families.

Paula has been a clinical leader and developed renal specialist educational training programmes. She is a Conflict Resolution Mediator and an Action Learning Facilitator, a powerful problem-solving strategy utilised to bring about changes for individuals, groups and organisations.
