Biography

Rachel is a teacher and a mum. She is wholly focused on nurturing her family at the same time as nurturing newly flourishing teachers and supporting them to be able to nurture in turn the children whose education is passed into their hands. Rachel hopes that her continuing enthusiasm for languages and teaching children might in some way move trainees to potentially become inspirational and motivating teachers in their own way.

Rachel is excited by how new technologies can facilitate, support and enhance teaching and learning, as well as other aspects of the teacher's role to allow for efficiency, attention to individual need and innovation. She hopes to continue to build on her knowledge and expertise in this area to benefit teachers of languages particularly.
