Suchita, a physiotherapist, is the moving and handling co-ordinator for the School of Nursing. She is actively involved in the planning, development and delivery of moving and handling across all nursing programmes and teaches manual handling skills to students both within the university and in clinical settings. She also acts as a source of professional expertise in moving and handling, providing advice and guidance to members of the Faculty, University and broader community.

She holds a BSc and MSc in physiotherapy; her MSc dissertation investigated the association between complex regional pain syndrome of the lower limb and leg length discrepancy in a paediatric population at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Suchita is also currently a senior in-patient orthopaedic physiotherapist at Princess Grace Hospital.
