Two winners and two shortlisted from School of Nursing and Midwifery at Kingston University Talent Awards 2013

The first ever Kingston University Talent Award ceremony was held on the 12 June 2013, organised by the Careers and Employability Team and hosted by Tim Campbell MBE of Apprentice fame, the first winner of The Apprentice. It celebrated the talents of students, staff and business partnerships.KU Talent

Nominees from across the University were judged by a global business panel including Cummins, Haymarket, IBM, British Airways, Clifford Chance, Menzies, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, RBS Group, Graduate promotions and United Biscuits

Two nursing students were winners in their categories, Nikki Yun for the First Year of the Year award and Gary Stockwell for Position of Responsibility.

The work of Leontia Pillay and Clara Haken was recognised as runners up in the Employability Award for Innovation in the Curriculum and Daphne Callender from Croydon Services NHS Trust for Outstanding Employer Contribution.

The awards were a great opportunity to celebrate the qualities we are proud to recognise within nursing and midwifery; commitment, collaboration and innovation.

The Talent Awards 2013 were organised by Kingston’s KUTalent Team and sponsored by Enterprise Rent-a-Car.
