There will be two ceremonies on Thursday 14 March 2019 – at 11.00am and 3.00pm.

To find out which ceremony you need to attend please book your graduate ticket.

To guarantee tickets for two of your guests, please book guest tickets by the Tuesday 19th February 2019.

Please note that there is no charge for graduates when registering your own ticket. Find out more information on guest tickets.

Eligibility

The following needs to apply in order for you to be eligible to attend your ceremony.

  •  You must have registered your attendance. 
  •  Your award must be agreed. For all those who are due to graduate in March 2019, your award must be agreed by Thursday 14 February 2019 in order for you to attend the ceremony. If you do not have your award agreed by this date, you’ll be sent information from your faculty about the next steps you should take, and you will not be able to attend your ceremony. If you have a query about your results, please contact your faculty directly as the Graduations team will not be able to assist you.

Gown booking deadline

To secure a gown for your graduation you must book by Friday 1st March 2019. There is extremely limited availability for gowns on the day so we are unable to guarantee that there will be a spare for you.

To order your gown, visit the Ede & Ravenscroft website. You will need to enter ‘Kingston Univ St George’s’ into the search bar and click ‘Find’.  You can also call on +44 (0) 1223 861 854.

When ordering, please have your height, head circumference and chest size ready.

The deadline to book your gown is Friday 1 March 2019. 

If you haven’t hired your gown by the deadline, there may be a lengthy queue on the day, it will cost more and there is no guarantee we will have your size.

Certificates

St George’s, University of London award certificates will be posted to graduates within three months of receipt of their final results. If you haven’t received your certificate within this time, please contact studentsystems@sgul.ac.uk.

Kingston University award certificates will be given to attending graduates on the day of the ceremony. If you are not attending, it is important you let us know by logging onto the graduation system. Select the option ‘not attending’ and provide an address for your certificate. Failure to inform us you are not attending may result in your certificate not being sent to you.
