The Story of Baby P: Setting the Record Straight 10th September 2014 This new book, by Professor Ray Jones in the School of Social Work and Social Care, was published by Policy Press in July and is already having its second print run. The books tells how the ‘Baby P story’ was shaped by the press and politicians and targeted at social workers and their managers, and reflects on the impact for those who became the centre of media vilification and on the child protection system across England.
