COVID Update COVID Update As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and associated social distancing restrictions, the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education has been planning how best to continue to educate and support its workforce development students under radically changed circumstances. Details for each academic year are as below. 20/21 Academic Year (for modules running September 2020 to August 2021) Dates for our 2020/21 workforce development modules are listed on our application portal https://applycpd.com/kusgul , on the relevant module page. Please note that due to the ongoing and evolving Covid -19 situation, these dates may be subject to change. Should we need to amend the date of a module, the Faculty will provide as much notice as is reasonably possible. Modules adapted for online delivery will continue to meet the same learning outcomes as the equivalent face-to-face version and course participants will receive the necessary tutorial support to complete the module and assessed elements. Our module application portal will give provisional information on the anticipated mode of delivery for each module run: online, classroom or blended. This will be confirmed when a place is offered and in the module joining instructions. 21/22 Academic Year (for modules commencing from September 2021) We are planning for blended (face-to-face and online) teaching delivery during the 2021/22 academic year. Provisional details of which session will be online and which face-to-face are listed on the module details page athttps://applycpd.com/kusgul , The face-to-face sessions are subject to change in response to any changes in Covid -19 related government guidance.
