Examine the theoretical, social, political and economic factors influencing the management, planning, delivery and evaluation of health and care in the UK. International perspectives and models of health and care will be included. Students will be exposed to the most recent health policies and initiatives which influence quality service provision reflecting the key principles of the UK health and care systems
Who is the module for:
Professionals involved in the management, service development and evaluation of health and care.
-A good honours degree and/or work experience in a healthcare setting
-International students must have IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent
Number of credits and level of study:
30 credits at level 7.
Pattern of Delivery:
Course induction on 2 October 2019, then fortnightly teaching days on Wednesdays, plus 220 hours self-directed study
