Dementia care training for all healthcare students at Kingston University and St George’s

With the number of people living with dementia in the UK set to rise to over a million in the next ten years, Kingston University and St George’s have committed to providing all nursing, health and social care students with dementia care training as part of their studies.

Workshops will be run in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society to equip healthcare students with the right skills and ability to communicate with dementia patients in hospitals, care homes and across the wider community.
