Professor Scott Reeves is the keynote speaker at International Conference

Scott ReevesScott Reeves, Professor of Interprofessional Research at Kingston and St George’s was the key note speaker at an international conference “The patient is the centre: Shaping Interprofessional education and collaboration” at the University of Heidelberg, Germany on 11 July 2014.

The conference was attended by academics, health practitioners and students from Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Professor Reeves also facilitated a workshop on how to effectively evaluate interprofessional education.

This event is notable as many higher education institutions in Germany are beginning to transform their traditional way of training health professions (uni-professional) to a collaborative approach. With regional and national funding, German Universities are also keen to undertake robust educational evaluation, which professor Reeves was advising on.
