School of Radiography alumna Danika Marmara appointed Director of Cancer Care Pathways for Malta.

Danika studied with Kingston and St George’s for several years achieving an MSc in Medical Imaging (Mammography) in 2010.

Judi Curtis, Senior Lecturer in Radiography said, “As her dissertation supervisor for the MSc, I was always aware that Danika had the ability to achieve all that she wanted to. The establishment and excellent delivery of the breast screening programme in Malta was always her top priority and that she managed to fit in studies around this just shows how hard working and dedicated she is. Cancer care in Malta is in safe hands.”

Danika is currently studying for a PhD in Health and Cancer Care at the University of Stirling.
