Claire recently joined Kingston & St George's as a senior lecturer. She initially qualified as a nurse in 2003 and then undertook her Masters degree shortly after in 2004. Claire later completed her Midwifery training and has been a practicing midwife since in various roles within the NHS. Her roles have included clinical governance support midwife, practice development midwife and delivery suite co-ordinator. Claire also maintains her role as supervisor of midwives and liaison lecturer at St Helier Hospital.

Claire will be taking a lead on the maternity pathway for the foundation degree programme and teaching on various modules within the student midwifery programmes and workforce development modules.
